1.92 Grams  Two Pieces  .91 and 1.01 Grams        

These two pieces are each quite grainy in appearance regarding surface texture.  That’s a clear indication as to the extremely gritty rock they formed against – as they were found in close proximity at considerable depth and under many tons of overburden (surface soils).  The quality of the two nuggets as far as high purity of gold is quite obvious and their overall character is interesting.  The one grammar has an appendage arm which is mindful of that of a Saguaro (pronounced Sa-warr-0) cactus, which is found in the southern Arizona Sonoran Desert.

(By the way, this species of cactus in some cases can live as long as two hundred years.) 

The other nugget has an intriguing small passageway which extends completely through the largest end of its elongated body.  These two gold nuggets will make an interesting addition
