This is a leafy type, exquisitely textured gold nugget!                             

It has a dimpled finish which also shows some striations caused by an endless,

slow progression of applied pressure contact from relentlessly moving

adjacent host rock. 

All this occurred in a very tightly constricted fissure, or cleft,

in that very same rock. 

It’s clear to see that this nugget never moved far from its original point of creation

it was not altered from its original character by being smoothed to a high gloss. 

Yep!  This is how the nugget master first brought it to be!
