Nugget hunters get skunked!    

Sure, you see videos of nugget discoveries constantly... bang...bang...bang! 

Looks easy.  That’s cause its selective editing – maybe even some “planting!”

 But in real life, nugget hunters do get skunked – a lot!

That’s why every once in a while, we head back out to “By Golly Gulch!” 

Often it looks like we’ll go home empty handed –

and that’s when we really get desperate toward the end of an exhausting day

and look to areas we normally ignore!

Well, by golly!  we finally got a valid detector signal

 resulting in a redeeming and rewarding chunk of gold. 

We headed home – over the same rocky, bumpy roads-

very tired and very happy.

  Look at this gold nugget!  You better believe it’s a miracle!
