It's one of those exciting finds from Lost Rainbow Canyon.. A very hard place to find and even harder to get to... This is one of the unexpected but very welcomed rewards from that most recent, particularly challenging and memorable adventure! As the story goes, this is one of those places that holds the answer of whatever happened with some less-than-lucky folks who never did return from that place. That's quite a story. This beautiful gold and quartz speciman sprawls to nearly 5/8 of an inch long and displays a wildly rugged and handsome surface texture showing just a bit of perfectly placed sweet, light smokey quartz. It's a very ritzy combination accented by an intriguing double arch at one end, and amazing when you get a first-hand closeup view. You've gotta love it!
