"The Golden Goldeneye!”    

Every once in a while, a gold nugget discovery presents itself as something familiar.  Buck is an avid duck hunter.  And upon gazing at this amazing golden treasure, he sees the bust of a wild Goldeneye – a North American diver duck. The likeness of this creature sparks his memories of Possum, his faithful Labrador Retriever, and the other canines belonging to his son.  Together he and his son with their retrievers have hunted the Snake River on many a cold, snowy, frigid morning in duck season! And those divers are one of their favorites to see skimming along the sometimes icy river. 

Their incredible speed and gracefulness are a sight to behold!

The nugget here reveals the bill, the head, the chest, and the posture

of a Goldeneye duck in flight. 

Its animation touches the spirit, and cannot be denied.
