You see here a story of primal conflict!   

A conflict between a fifteen-hundred-mile-wide abysmal, hidden ball of fire 

and an object of golden greatness!

 Nearly three thousand miles deep into our planet is this turbulent, disruptive disturbance that is a hellish, molten underworld -the very core of planet Earth and it remains constant at nearly nine thousand four hundred degrees Fahrenheit in temperature.  Here, this unimaginable inferno keeps things in an unstable state of flux – such is the uneasy existence of gold in that zone, forced to blend into a vaporous, toxic solution and in a state of powerfully divine conflict.  This gold bearing solution is pressured upward through fissures and cleaves in the earth for nearly three thousand miles until it is able to settle-out, cool and solidify –

often into a solid lump called a nugget.

But it is forced into the first available and suitable void for its ultimate formation.  Thus, the Genises conflict is hereby resolved.  However – not always as a lump, as you can see by this delicate, spectacularly bizarre and most intricate, alien-like image of a dream conjured prehistoric creature.  As long as any nugget remains in contact with the forces of nature, there shall be some conflict as is evidenced by two tiny battle scars visible upon close inspection of what we consider the back side of this piece - a result of either extraction or sliding pressure from surrounding rock, which only adds to its character.
