This most spectacular gold nugget must have remained nearly undisturbed and in place since its coming into being first occurred.  This is clearly evidenced by its astoundingly unaltered state.  Barely shifting position at all since quite possibly the beginning of time, this piece remained swaddled in its abidingly protective dark, iron-stained earthly surroundings – cloistered and protected as all the elements that had been holding it securely, perhaps for millions of years, decomposed around it, all the while remaining gentle enough to preserve the amazing integrity of this staggeringly impressive chunk of gold.  Forever linked to its prehistoric, formative roots by several scant remaining traces of white silicon dioxide quartz, formed by the union of silicon and oxygen, the most abundant elements in our earth’s crust, this nugget will capture your stare and be-dazzle your senses.  Its form is so sparklingly bizarre that it defies accurate description.  I’ll let the photos take care of that, although they will surely fall short of capturing its full and complete essence.  A most extraordinary nugget of gold, which must be handled carefully because of its fascinating innately ornate, natural design!
