Overall, smoothly textured, it’s still quite diverse in appearance as it displays craters, gullies, dimples and ridges.  Oh, and this one is a real “thudder!”  That is to say, drop it from several inches onto a pad or tablet and it doesn’t just “klunk” – no it “thuds!”  Then drop it into the palm of your hand and it makes a definite impact upon landing when you catch it! 

This one really made its presence known to the metal detector and proved to be a notable discovery when finally, we freed it of earth’s restraints.  I’m sure you’ll understand when you remove it from the shipping box –it will make a perceptible mark on your senses. 

It’s an elongated, thick piece of shine!

While showing a scant trace of its original host rock – namely quartz (composed of silicon and oxygen) this piece would certainly not be considered a specimen. However, it is so tastefully and hardly adorned that spotting the tiniest sample of the embryonic gray mineral-stained matrix quartz

is most interesting....

Rich, yellow and no other mineral can come close to being what this really is!
